Would Larry and Beaver play together and share germs?

Yep. They'd dance to Wally's cha-cha record.

Eddie would come over and cough all over June. Ward would think he caught the virus just like he thought he got the chicken pox in Beaver’s Pigeons.

Lumpy would come to the door and Wally would say “It’s only Lumpy.” Lumpy- “You would think I was a case of the virus.”

June would get out the ammonia and scrub every doorknob. She would keep the boys home. Beaver would be quarantined in his room.

Ward would say things like, "Let's not talk too much tonight, June. My throat is a little scratchy (cough, cough)."

June: "Well, what are we going to do? We can't go to the movies, we can't walk down to the drug store and eavesdrop on Wally's girlfriends at the fountain, and have a black and white soda, we can't go over to Gwen's and play bridge... There just isn't anything to do."

Ward: "Ahem. Right...(cough)." (Tugs at throat)

June: "Oh, Ward. Cut it out. Get tested already!"

“Well we have three doctors in Mayfield, Dr. Kirby, Dr. Richardson and his assistant Dr. Bradley.”

Bradley will know Beaver is faking and Wally will test positive for Coronavirus and get presents. Beaver will be put in the spare bedroom. Ward will check into the Y until Wally recovers and June will be nurse because she’s had everything.

Larry has had everything from appendicitis to swolled glands. He even had a reaction to some detergent used in his clothes. Eddie had the measles once and the mumps (Chopper Episode) which now would be a disaster. Beaver tells Miss Canfield his father has Epidemics. He also told Ward they called off the picnic because there is an epidemic.

Gee, Larry even gets sick from eating candy in bed. Wally got the virus from Eddie, he tells June, "He breathed on me at the lunch table."

And now, no school until at least May 1. June has mixed feelings--Beaver home for the next month. Aaaah! Uh, oh! 24/7!! Ugh!!! Well, she thinks, at least they're separated and they won't be fighting.

Beaver (young) cracks me up when he's makin' stuff up. Uh, I can't bring in a baby picture, I think it's against our religion. Uh, my mother's in the hospital. (Oh, I hope it's nothing serious.) Uh, she's got pneumonia. (Oh, that's very serious.) Oh, it's not the dyin' kind. You can almost hear the gears clicking as he's thinking up new lies.

And Beaver would sneak out to explore and play with his friends who also snuck out. You know he would.:)

Yeah, he sure would. They'd make an episode out of that.

Beaver and Wally would stay indoors until Eddie and Larry show up and talk them into stepping out and mixing and mingling.

I see people shaking hands and think “Oh no!” Chuey shakes hands with Ward.

They played that picnic episode this morning. This was the one where Beaver said he thought there was an epidemics. And Ward actually believed it.

I think Wally and Beaver would complain about not being able to have their friends over or go see them. Eddie would repeatedly try to come over and Ward and June would have to shoo him away each time. The phone sure would get a workout!

OH Nuts!

Beav: “Gosh Wally I’m all bored and stuff. What’s there to do?”

Wally: “Oh quit your complaining ya little goof! (To June): “Hey Mom, can I have a hunk of cake and milk?”

The phone sure would get a workout!

And June would sterilize it after each use.

Ward would keep thinking he’s got the virus like he keeps scratching in the pigeon episode. Larry would sneak out and yell up to Beaver’s window asking if he could sleep in his bathtub. Gilbert would call and ask if he could sleep over like he always wants to.

"I don't know June, I've got this dry cough. And my throat feels a little scratchy." (feels his throat; cough, cough.)

"Just go wash your hands, Ward. And keep six feet away."
