I just noticed this a few minutes ago, but Dabl has been added to our XFINITY cable lineup.

This is DABL. It's a new reality TV station. It looks very bad to me. I wouldn't even bother to subscribe to it but for those who will, this is what it looks like:

We got it back in January--it replaced Cozi-TV. A contract change by the local station. They have one reality show I like--reruns of an old A&E show, Sell This House.

We didn't get any channels replaced at all, and it's just simply right next to Start TV. It's channel 931 here, and Start is 930.

Exactly. It's not bad if you're into that kind of channel. I get it over the antenna - not cable. Lots of cooking shows - Martha Stewart; Ceasar the Dog Guy; A lot of pet shows; some decorating shows.

I did notice it was in my area too but I couldn't read the logo name. I read the Wikipedia info and found the station is CBS sub station a which owns DECADES which I lost. Would prefer Decades to this Home and Garden type station.

Me too, but we caught Sell This House yesterday, which my parents used to watch back in the day.

I posted about liking "Sell" (as we called it) above, but I used to watch that all the time back in the day. It was on all Sat. morning on A&E. I got my mom to watch it and she got hooked, too. That host, Tanya, is so personable--she makes it a really enjoyable show--and her interplay with Roger is funny, too. It's all that I watch on Dabl--except maybe Bob Vila's old show once in awhile. I'm kind of surprised to see Sell back on.

I know that UP Faith and Family has episodes of This Old House, but I believe that they aren’t the Bob Vila era.

Yep, I would like to see the Bob Vila ones again. From 1979 to 1989. They probably don't show those because they are so dated. I think the first house they did, they put in an orange counter that looked like the Brady Bunch.

I just checked YouTube, and there’s a whole bunch of Bob Vila episodes.

Thanks for that--I knew he had a lot of his Bob Vila's Home Again episodes on there, but I didn't know about This Old House. (The "Home Again" episodes on Dabl are newer, but his show goes back to 1990--and the old episodes of that are much more interesting, IMO)
