In 1989 Raid launched Raid Max a new type of bug spray that claimed to get rid of bugs faster from any room of your home. To launch Raid Max a commercial was launched and when the commercial begins we see a demonstration of how Raid Max works using a pretend house filled with ants while action movie type music plays in the background then we see a close up of a red laser beam coming from the spray can and that I thought was very clever for a commercial to use. Raid Max is still sold today but when Raid Max debuted this commercial in 1989 Raid knew it would sell thanks to the clever slogan "When Max attacks you win"

Raid Max also had a second variant of this commercial altered to promote it's new at the time ant baits in 1990 and the commercial is the same as the 1989 version but shorter and demonstrates the use of Raid Max Ant Baits but the ending is the same
