The regulars over there decided to reconvene over here IIRC. What happened?

I see moviechat also dried up. It's pulled on Amazon Prime, and they put it on (loaded with ads) IMDb tv. Got up to Leviathan, and it got really boring. Will retry it if it comes to an ad free streaming service

I'm definitely the only fan of Dark Shadows that enjoys this story  Almost every fan who speaks of this story can't stand it. I love how different it was and suspenseful. It was a great follow up to the 1897 story IMO. The only story from Dark Shadows I find really boring is the Adam / Dream Curse. Adam was an awful addition to the show. I'm not a fan of Frankenstein stories though.

Tubi has all the episodes but not ad free.

Giving Leviathan another try. DJH appears in the current time then. I'm guessing Barnabas will appear soon. Didn't recognize Nancy Barret at first playing Carolyn and looking great. Leviathan getting more interesting. It'll be great getting into Dark Shadows again. Imdbtv appears to only have 4 or 5 45 second commercials which I can live with. Crackle and early Hulu put a bad taste in my mouth for ad supported services when they had ridiculous commercial time in shows. I prefer commercial free but looks like DS and Rockford Files this is it.

I have been watching on IMBd TV and like that they limit commercials. I think it is about 4 short ads per episode. Pluto and Tubi were showing way to many commercials for me. I think it was around 3 to 4 minutes or more of ads per episode.

It would be great if the Syfy Channel (formerly the Sci-Fi Channel) brought back the original “Dark Shadows” to their channel.

When that horror/sci-fi channel was set to launch back in the early 1990s, the station’s executives acknowledged that DS was THE most requested classic show by people to be aired on their new channel, even more than “Star Trek” or “The Twilight Zone.” Heck, the original DS is way better than any of the kitsch they broadcast today.

I enjoyed most the the Leviathan story but glad it ended when it did. The Adam story went on way to long.
