View Full Version : Why Mrs. Garrett REALLY left Peekskill!
cfr1970 03-18-2020, 01:29 PM I'm a little too bored during my quarantine lol.....
Talking to her new husband Dr. Bruce Gaines:
Mrs. G: Oh Bruce it's so good to finally be away from those ungrateful girls. Turning my shop into a novelty store was the final straw! I just couldn't believe MY GIRLS did that to me. They had me selling inflatable penguins for heavens sake!
Bruce: I know dear.
Mrs. G: And their PROBLEMS! It seemed like every damned week each one had a new problem to solve! But what about me? I have problems too you know!
Bruce: I know dear.
Mrs. G: And they were women! Fully grown women out of college and high school still none of them have gotten laid yet. What's wrong with them! Oh Bruce, I just couldn't take it anymore and had to get away. I still love those girls, but I just couldn't live with them anymore!
Bruce: I know dear.
Mrs. G: (Turning to Nancy, Sue Ann, Cindy and Molly)--But now I have my new girls. All devirginized women who don't just think of themselves all the time. And who gave me this brand new "Edna's Edibles" store here in California. I'm so grateful for you 4 beautiful girls! You are no longer lost anymore!
(Nancy, Sue Ann, Cindy and Molly in unison): We love you Mrs. G! And you never have to sell neon flamingos again!

I picture a scene when the 4 core girls visit L.A. and stumble upon the new Edna's Edibles by accident and go inside where everything is an exact carbon copy of the old Peekskill store. They are frozen in shock by what they're seeing!
Then the 4 lost girls come out cheerfully saying "Can we help you?" and then Mrs. G comes out with a plate of her apple strudel all smiles and happy, sees the girls and says "Uh oh, they found me!"
The look on the core girl's face would be priceless.
80s Dude 03-18-2020, 02:43 PM crf, if you have the Coronavirus, I wish you will and to getting through this.
'80sSitcoms 03-18-2020, 02:48 PM I don't think he does (though he may?). I just thought he meant like a "precautionary" working-from-home kind of quarantine.

I can't see Sue Ann losing her virginity before her wedding night. She was the Lisa Whelchel of the first season.
Bruce: I know dear.

Thanks 80's Dude, but OMG no I don't have it. I'm just taking the precautions of staying inside and allowing them to do what they have to out there to stop this and we can get back to normal quickly.
I hope no one else here has it, but it's good to follow the advice and limit outside activities for a week or 2...at least till they get a handle on this.
Now back to the FOL....(i'm on overload with this whole virus thing and come here for escape from it!) :):):)

I love the dialogues between MRS G and her husband, and i can very well picture her rolling her eyes as she speaks to him, but to me ONLY the core of 4 will ever be 'HER GIRLS'....:talk:
