Wikipedia IT says:

Translation:
The Facts of Life inspired an italian movie of 1984, College, starring Federica Moro (with the role of Arianna, a girl who resembles Blair Warner). Other similarities are the role of a girl with rollerskates (she resembles Tootie during the first season of the show) and the presence of a military academy nearby the school

Thanks for the info, ITA, and the link, 80s Dude!

...Watching, and at about 11 minutes in, there's the rich girl, a roller skating girl, seven girls, and a pet frog. Guess we know which season this was based on!

and understanding??

Well... I definitely understood the part where the girls are in English class.

"When does the lahst plane leave from London?"

"May I have some stamps for this lettah?"

"I want to send a telegrahhhm, make a telephone cowl."

Some things are universal: the 1980s clothing montages, the 1980s-style pranks against the military schoolboys next door, the disco dance numbers, etc. Kind of feels like Revenge of the Nerds or other 1980s movies where two groups are pitted against one another.

The part where the girls' frog gets loose and scares the red-haired housemother somehow seemed vaguely familiar...

You can click the CC box at the bottom of the video and then open the settings to auto translate the language to English and have captions so you know what they're saying. I'm going to watch this one later. Thanks for leading us to it....looks good. :)
