If they were doing a movie version of this show, who would you cast.
This is what I came up with: (I'll update the list when I think of more) I'm going by looks for some and believability.
Jessica Tate: Sissy Spacek
Eunice Tate: Jennifer Aniston
Burt Campbell: Ryan Stiles (only one I could think of)
The Major: Christopher Lloyd
Corinne: Sandra Bullock
Danny Dallas: Ashton Kutcher (Kelso on That 70's Show)
Billy Tate: Topher Grace
Dutch Leitner: Don Stark (Bob Pinciotti-That 70's Show)
Chester Tate: Kelsey Grammer

I can hardly imagine other people playing those roles, although they probably will do a movie version since so many old television shows are being turned into big screen movies.

Those sound like great actress/actors, I think they would be perfect for the parts, if they did make a "SOAP" movie, or a reunion movie which would be wonderful also.

I couldn't see anyone but the surviving original cast in this but if it did I hope some of them will at least make cameos in the movie. :D

done for this classic. A Soap updated for the present time would work well. Granted, the fantastic Richard Mulligan and Cathryn Damon have passed, but the second generation could be the focus of a new series (or movie). Susan Harris is done with writing TV, but I'm sure someone could do a good job with it.

I never thought about the 2nd generation..That would be great.
True, it wouldn't be the same without Richard Mulligan and Cathryn Damon. Still, I'd love to see a TV-Move or a series.
I'm sure any writer who grew up with this fantastic show would
love the chance to write for it.
