That's pretty shocking because L&S has NOT aged well at all. TC is a better show by a MILLION miles! It's not even close!

definitely is Im guessing it was so popular because it came from HD and viewers were already familiar with them.

Yeah, but Happy Days was a better show than L&S. Plus TC has made a bazillion dollars in syndication on multiple networks while L&S is rarely seen!

I remember it being revived in syndication in 2004 on TNN and wasnt around too much after that

L&S was mostly a timeslot hit, as proven in syndication. It was sandwiched between Happy Days and TC in the late 70's. ABC could of showed a test pattern in that timeslot and still popped a rating.

once the show moved from tuesday it didnt have the same audience. That still doesnt make sense because the people who watched it on tuesday night could have watched it on Thursday lol

One thing about L & S was the show moved out of Milwaukee. That ruined the show. Ratings were never the same again after that happened. And it couldn't have been just a time slot hit because when it premiered it surpassed HD in the ratings. The show was a phenomenon at one time. Some hit shows just don't do well in syndication .

Right. The producers tore up their contracts and increased their salaries to $30K per episode for the girls and $50K per episode for John right?

I bet they ALL wish they took a lower salary BUT with residuals on the back end!

I agree. I just thought the producers increased their salaries once Three's Company became a #1 show or whatever John Ritter meant. :lol:
