In The House ran from 1995 to 1998. It started out on NBC but it moved to UPN after the first season. LL Cool J starred as Marion Hill who was a former NFL star and who currently shared a house with a single mom named Jackie (played by Debbie Allen) and served as nanny to her two kids. When the series moved to UPN Jackie had moved to Nashville with son Austin leaving daughter Tiffany in Marion's charge to finish her senior year of high school. As soon as Marion started working at a clinic and Tiffany enrolled in college there were many cast additions. Kim Wayans and Alfonso Ribeiro joined the cast in the second season and Lark Voorhees among others later joined the cast.
