The relationship between Ward and June in season 1 especially. They are playful, funny, flirty, sexy, loving and act like a very happy couple. Ward is downright a perfect mate for June and the exchange is hilarious. Hugh was perfect. Later they become rigid, formal almost like total strangers. That chemistry is totally gone.

She's also feisty in season 1. In one of the best episodes (IMO), Beaver Runs Away, Wally says something like, Beaver says he's going to join the foreign legion or something like that. As she's going into the kitchen, she says, Ward Cleaver, if he does, I'm never speaking to you again!
