Right now its the only one that hasn't been released yet. Since it is what completes the series, I hope that its release date isn't too far away. It took so long for the rest of the show to finally be out there.

God bless you and everyone from the show always!!!

According to the DVD/BD roundup on TVShowsOnDVD's FB page, Season 7 is set to be released on April 21st. I'm surprised this wasn't posted before till now.

^^^ The only downside to that picture in my opinion...besides Jean Luc being no where in it of course, is Brendan being missing from the shot too and of course that is all because of him being written out too as if his character never once existed. To me, he should've remained in the script. I absolutely have nothing against the little girl who I guess ended up getting his spot, Lily, she was adorable, but to me, if her being shown more meant that another cast member was going to be shown the door, her appearances shouldn't have been as frequent as they ended up being.

God bless you and all of the cast always!!!

Just got the final season of Step By Step in the mail today April 21 2020!! It is nice to finally have all seven seasons on DVD. Time to binge watch one of my favorite shows! I thought the day I had the complete series would never come. Great sense of accomplishment today!!!

^^^ Where did your copy come from? I pre-ordered mine at Wal-Mart and it came to me today which of course is one day after it got released, but my shipping was free due to my getting other things as well and so I guess that I can't complain. $24.99 was the price plus tax making my grand total about $27.42. :) :) :)

God bless you always!!!

Holly

P.S. Tax here in Tennessee is 9.75% which I believe may be the highest in the whole country.

My dvds of seasons 5-7 arrived today. Popped season 7 in for a peak and I see that season has the same issue as early seasons where we get a 4:3 image framed with black bars either side in a 16:9 presentation. They really did some odd things with the release of this show on dvd.

One thing that I am happy about concerning this season is that even though Brenden was no longer shown, at least two references are made to there being seven children in the family. The first one is in episode #4 name Take This Job And.....

God bless you always!!!

P.S. Al was actually missing from what I believe to be an important enough scene during the season six episode named Talking Trash which happens to be when Carol's birthday is celebrated. When the cake and the presents are given to her, Al is absolutely nowhere to be found.

It's good that he wasn't written out of existence, although I do wish we'd seen him, even once, during the season.

Yeah I agree but I’ll take a reference over pretending they don’t exist

I'll be honest with you that I've never seen the final season (i.e. the one that aired on CBS). I don't know why other than I probably wasn't properly aware of Step by Step changing networks. Maybe I lost track of it because its final season on ABC kind of came and went with little fanfare. And maybe, I was still an active TGIF viewer so I had to "stick with my allegiance" out if sheer habit.

That final season creation to get aired on CBS should never have happened at all.
