The 1970s syndicated version of Concentration would make a exciting addition to Buzzr

The Jack Narz Concentration will air weeknights at 7:30PM starting Monday. The weekday schedule remains largely the same. Concentration airing at 7:30 will move Let's Make a Deal an hour later to 8:30PM. No more double airings of Supermarket Sweep in primetime, but it keeps a single airing at 9PM. Those are the only changes on weekdays. Also, this Saturday the Game Changers special Alex Trebek hosted last year is encoring for a final airing from 6-8PM, preempting Bzzz! and the 3rd hour of Classic Concentration. I missed Game Changers when it first aired, so it will be nice to see this time.

Another weekday change I hadn't noticed before: Press Your Luck returns to weekdays, 4PM replacing Card Sharks. That means no more daytime tango ads, I liked those. Card Sharks remains in its other two weekday airings at 4:30PM and 9:30PM/12:30AM. And on weekends the Jack Narz Concentration gains an hour Sundays at 4PM, which replaces Sale of the Century. Rest of the weekend schedule remains the same, at least through 2AM Sunday nights.

I enjoy the Jack Narz hosting of Concentration much better!!!

I recently got Buzzr back in my area and just started watching Jack Narz Concentration...I have to say I also enjoy it much more than the Alex Trebek version.

I love Alex but the format of the later incarnation of the show becomes just so bland and repetitive after a while. I still watch it but fast forward until I think I can start guessing the puzzle. And the bonus round is just plain boring most of the time.

With the Narz version I enjoy the extra features on the board like "extra number" and the "take" that must be used right away. Also the "wild" card does not automatically reveal the second match to the prize so it's possible that certain numbers are never revealed...It adds more variety to the game and I wish they would have been retained in the newer version. And having to guess two puzzles during the endgame is much more fun.

Jack Narz version definitely better!!! So many people say Alex is so great, personally I don't think so!! What's he known for except hosting game shows?? Do you recall the Hugh Downs version? Of Concentration, I mean! Goes back to the 60s!! Uhoh, showing my age!!LOL!!!! Seriously, what makes Alex so lovable??
