When Pink burst onto the scene with her debut album Can't Take Me Home in 1999 Pink was gonna be a huge star in R&B music with the singles There You Go and Most Girls it seemed that Pink was successful in R&B but as soon as her second album came out in 2001 with the release of Get The Party Started it seemed that she changed genres and went for a rock sound and repeated it with the underrated album Try This and her fourth album and the album Funhouse. Is this because Laface Records tried to make her have an image like a rap artist and tried to make her have an image like singer Kandi Burgess?. I thought the R&B genre suited Pink the best because it is a huge marketing genre for singers today. Why they made her do rock i'll never understand
