Mrs. Rayburn dismisses her as not really knowing a child’s intelligence ability being a novice but she knew Beaver wasn’t a special child. Wonder how Miss Canfield told Mrs. R.

Miss C- “Hey Mrs. Rayburn I was right Beaver was of just average intelligence and it was Charles Fredericks who got the good grade. You were wrong.”

Mrs. R- “Oh”

Mrs. R - I would have no way of knowing Charles would do such a thing. So telling me I am wrong is a bit too harsh, don't you think?

Miss C- Well Mrs. Rayburn you did sort of insult me in front of the Cleavers like I wasn’t an experienced teacher so I think I deserve an apology.

Mrs. R- You’re fired!
