Hi guys. This is my first post on the "Mama's Family" forum. As you can see by my username I am a HUGE Lucille Ball fan however I have started watching "Mama's Family" in the afternoon before going to work and I just HOWL at Vicki Lawrence. I was in L.A. last August for the "Loving Lucy" convention and it just so happened that a few of us Lucy fans stumbled across some free tickets to be in the audience of the live taping of the "Carol Burnett Reunion" show that aired on TV last November or December. Do you guys know which special I am talking about? Anyway, I said that to say that Vicki Lawrence was hysterical in person and it was awesome to see her LIVE! She is sooooooooo beautiful and is as hilarious as ever! My questions are: Where does she live today and what is she doing? How many episodes of Mama's Family were there? And, last but least......is Beverly Archer still alive?

Hey Sherry, welcome to the "Mama" board! :)

There were 130 episodes of "Mama's Family"---35 NBC episodes, and 95 syndicated ones. I would assume that Beverly is still alive---I haven't heard anything of the contrary, and surely we would have heard around here!

As for Vicki, she's about to do a "two-woman" show, "Vicki & Mama", at various casinos and things around the country! :D
