I was watching the 2000 season of Supermarket Sweep and in the first episode of the 2000 season I noticed that they added new games to this season and some I would like to know more about,
1. 10 Second Shootout,
I noticed this game added to Supermarket Sweep and from what I saw of it the teams stand in front of a large pot and try to guess letters to items in a Hangman like fashion. It also has a timer with a signal of a buzzer similar to a fire alarm. Was this a new game to make Supermarket Sweep even more exciting in the 2000 season?
2. International Bread Counter,
During the Big Sweep David Ruprecht asked the teams to find many breads from around the world from the International Bread Counter and fill bags with whichever breads David asked for. Why they chose this game to replace the Shopping List is beyond me?
3. SuperBonus,
I noticed that this season of Supermarket Sweep added a SuperBonus and if the teams found a Bonus that was a SuperBonus during the Big Sweep the team added more points to their score
I also noticed that a second Mini Sweep was added as well to give the teams more time in the Big Sweep too. Was these new changes added when PAX decided to air the show in 2000?
