Most of the sitcoms that first aired from 1/1/1960-8/27/1986: yes, they are older then I am

A lot of my favorite shows premiered before I was born with many of them being in black and white. That's when TV was worth watching, when you can find something good to watch at least once every night compared to today when all the best shows seem to come on Thursdays. I was clearly born too late!

I Love Lucy started before I was born. “Beaver” started the year I was born, but clearly I didn’t catch it until some years later. ;) But The vast majority of my favorites started after I was born.

Since I was born in 1984 and most of my favorite sitcoms are from the '90s, that is not the case most of the time. But I really like "Allo Allo" and "Family Ties". And as they both had their debuts in 1982, they count.
