Whatever came of his relationship with the female cop in the episode Going to Pot?

Remember after everything cleared up about the Pot and not actual weed, the female cop said..."im sorry I had to use you but if you still want to go out I get off at 6pm" And then furley ran outside to go talk to her and then we never see him with a lady:lol::lol::lol:

I guess the way he ran out trying to catch up with her means we are supposed to believe he never caught up to her and missed out:lol:

I always wondered if always playing the DORK and loser affected Don Knotts' self esteem especially with women in real life. He was a dork on Andy Griffith, TC, & in most other roles he played in TV and movies.

Apparently it didn't because Don Knotts' widow said he was a hit with the ladies after he died. I guess the ladies just knew he was a playing a role or they like DORKS! Plus they KNEW he was rich!

Another line that furley made in regards to women that made me laugh was when Janet told him women like sex too and he responded with

"Really? Well why did they always act like they were doing me a favor?
