I did do some looking over the internet but could find nothing.


This was from the original series.


A lady who as I said had a life threatening illness but she was unable to have the operation unless they found out more about her background.


As I indicated she was adopted and couldn't track down her birth mom and family and sadly died due to her being unsuccessful.


I can't remember the woman's name other than she was born in NYC in 1950 and I believe the mother had her out of wedlock and they showed a picture of her as a baby with her birth mother.


Don't know if this all helps but it's the best I can remember.

Thanks for the info. Obviously I was wrong about the out of wedlock part.


The article claims the mom gave Gale up for adoption because she had no place to live but claims her father had a good job.


Don't get it.

Did she have kids of her own? Cause now one of them could take an AncestryDNA test and hopefully build a tree that leads back to both her biological father/mother.
