Defense attorney Troy Slaten (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Troy_Slaten), 44, began his acting career at age 5 as the son of Tyne Daly's NYPD detective Mary Beth Lacey. He went on to star in Fox's Parker Lewis Can't Lose in the early 90s as Jerry Steiner (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nBFpVbnfmC4), Parker's nerdy trench coat-wearing sidekick. Slaten is one of a handful of former child stars who've entered the legal profession. Others include The Wonder Years' Josh Saviano and Crystal McKellar, and Jeff Cohen, who played Chunk in The Goonies.
