Wow! This is so cool! I love stuff like this! I stumbled upon this video by pure accident when Google Image searching "Brian & Sylvia". Richard appeared on "The Howie Mandel Show" (Howie had a talk show???) on December 8, 1998, and surprised him!

This means now we have footage of TWO different "Facts of Life" alumni shown on video watching themselves on the show: First our Molly, and now Richard Dean Anderson!

Hard to get used to of Howie Mandel having hair.

I was going to say the same thing.

I loved his reaction when Howie brought up that appearance. He appeared on what was an almost universal choice as the worse show of the series.

Right??? hahahaha, like, "NOOOOOO you didn't find that!!"

SO funny. I love it. The goatee looks good on him too. In 1998 he looked like Brian's hip uncle, lol.

Well it's a good thing you said "almost" because I really like this episode; it's one of my favorite "Facts" spin-off attempts. :loveya:

So that's the year that video came out?

Thanks for sharing, '80s!

I didn't care for the Brian and Sylvia spin-off. RDA was much better as MacGyver.

I'm pretty sure we have clips of Nancy, Lisa, Charlotte, and Mindy watching themselves at the PaleyFest event. At least, that's what I recall.

And then there is this of Molly last year.

Yup.

But what did you think of the video??? What a rare treat to see an actor from a "Facts" episode watching themselves! And his reactions!

It made a BIG impression on me as a child. Seeing Natalie and Tootie going away to "the big apple", seeing them inside a TV studio---wow!!

Really?? WOW!! Awesome! (I've seen that, but don't remember that).
