School Picture Perfume Salesmen Wally’s Practical Joke stevea 02-19-2020, 07:23 PM I was thinking it might be the same bit part player Lenore Kingston, but that's not it. All three episodes have relatively little known female character actresses, though. Scrabjan1 02-20-2020, 09:10 AM Good guess. Hint: A certain character is mentioned by Ward in all these episodes. Each time June says she never heard of him. I can’t believe they don’t edit the scene out. stevea 02-21-2020, 09:46 AM Oh, Happy Hooligan. In Joke, Ward is sitting on the couch reading the comics, and June says she's never heard of him. I do recall him mentioning HH in other episodes. Haskell 02-22-2020, 04:01 AM Wow I’ll have to watch for that! How funny! Scrabjan1 02-22-2020, 07:59 PM That’s it! Ward says he used to say “Have a Mary Pickford and a Happy Hooligan.” In Perfume Salesmen Ward tells June they sent a cheap toy for a movie projector and if you squint and turn the crank you can see Happy Hooligan. In School Picture June asks what kind of face did Beaver make and Ward says well have you ever seen happy hooligan in the funny papers June says no well that’s what he looks like. But Beaver had already showed June the face he made so she should’ve known. |
