Not a fan of this episode as it was once again having Gilbert pressure Beaver into getting him to realize he’s treated like a second class citizen and acting like a “miserable guy.” I was thinking about all the times in seasons 5 and 6 Beaver acts like a mentally challenged kid and decided when are the times he acts mature? Not too often.

When he starts playing baseball in the bedroom running around it’s more cringeworthy than him twisting. Love how June says “You know I don’t like to bother your father at work” when Beaver wants to see if he can get another ticket. She constantly calls him at work when she finds out something is not right. Beaver skipped school, she finds another letter from the Merchant Marines, wants Lumpy to drive his car, school calls and wants to see a parent in Monster Sweatshirt. Always calling him at the office.

I like watching Wally in the beginning when they are gathered in the den discussing the ballgame. Wally’s head is like a bobble head swinging from Beaver to Ward. Mayfield must be huge like Chicago to have a major ballgame with Mickey Mantel.

Gilbert says and while you’re drinking pop and spreading mustard on your hot dog think of me at my Aunt Emma’s wearing a tie. Well Beaver wears a tie to the game. I think it would’ve been a riot if after Beaver decides he’s the one going to the ball game he starts to balk about wearing a suit that’ll open up another whole can of worms.

And Mickey is either teammates with Mule Saunders or is on the opposing team. Mule hit a homer over the center field fence, after just arriving in time from running the beauty parlor. I didn't notice Beaver wearing the tie (maybe he consulted with Terry to make sure it was OK), and I'm sure Ward was wearing one. A tie to go to a ball game?

Wasn't Beaver tossing the ball against the wall before Eddie came in to announce his summer fishing Job? I'm sure there was a Cleaver rule against that.

He was tossing the ball against the wall like when he throws darts.

Speaking of Eddie on a fishing boat I always laugh out loud every time I see the exchange between Eddie and Captain Drake. Drake was the best person to put Eddie in his place. Eddie looked the same walking out of Arctic Fish Co. as he did getting off the rolly coaster rather green.

So the guy who choked the seat belt on Eddie was Captain Drake?

I actually had a friend years ago who said Rolly Coaster. Maybe he grew up with Jerry.

Same guy as Captain Drake? I know he had no lines.

Right, all I remember is Eddie saying Ah, who needs a seat belt? And the guy cinching it down and Eddie kind of groaning. I don't remember the guy at all, and as you say he had no lines.
