I just started watching! I've been recording the episodes that air on Saturday nights. I don't know how else to watch this show.

I don't watch it !! I hate this show ! :pThere is only one ep. I ever watch and like called " Hair " cause Michael Lembeck guest starred ! ;):) But even than that ep. even s*cked except he was in it which of course made it tolerable for me ! :);)

IMHO, this is one of the most overrated, boring, draggy, depressing shows ever!!:confused:

Oh well. Different strokes for different folks. I personally like the show A LOT. Perhaps I’m biased though as I live in NYC and really like Hal Linden. But then there are shows, like Star Trek, which was wildly popular with a cult following, which I never got into.

Hey Sue nice to see you back. I for one love the show and may look into the DVD set - although I have the first three seasons & some later eps burned from Antenna airings.

I never cared for the show as a pre-teen when it originally aired, but love it now. I've been watching on FETV and Crackle.

Funny how our tastes change. I felt this way about That Girl when it first aired and thought Don was a real drip. Now I love the show and him.

Always loved Barney Miller & really miss Monika at times like this. We used to have such a blast with Rejected Episode Titles.

No! I am far from a troll ! :(I just gave my opinion ! ;)But after reading another thread that I had posted on a few years ago "The precinct was really dirty " I had liked this show for a while, but I think Antenna overplayed it and IMO , I ended up not really liking it after all again which I originally didn't like it when I was young first run ! But I did give it a second chance a few years ago on Antenna ! ;)

I love NY ers and shows that feature NY , such as All in the family, Rhoda, Cagney and Lacey , to name a few ! :)And I do like Hal Linden, he's a good looking man!;) Just IDK how to explain it?, Barney Miller just doesn't hold my interest , I still see it as my Mom and Dad's show! A show for old people ( they were younger than I am now when it was first run) :lol:, but well that is how I see it!! ;)

I don’t think coming onto a show’s thread once and stating you dislike it makes you a troll. A troll is someone who comes on repeatedly to stir up trouble. I don’t think your posts, to this point, fit that criterion.

If I don’t like a show, or am ho hum about it, I usually just ignore the show’s threads.

Yeah. I should have went with the motto "If you don't have anything good to say , don't say anything at all" ! ;) I did kind of just jump in and add my two cents :talk:, It would have been different if the thread title was " Do you like Barney Miller"? ;)
