Not necessarily that kids your age couldn't like it but circumstance or just your own taste made you not like it.

Pretty much all current scripted sitcoms on network tv (except maybe Young Sheldon, Mom having jumped the shark around season 3).

I watched cartoons and live-action kids shows all through the 60s and 70's -- and Pee Wee's Playhouse in the 80s.

When the kids/tweens started getting snarky and sassy I stopped watching live-action youth programs entirely (Disney Channel, Nick, etc.). (Though I'm not proud to say I have seen most of Saved by the Bell in reruns thanks to MeTV).

I used to adore Bill & Ted and such. Can't stomach them now.

I didn't start watching Saved By the Bell until I was out of college but I still liked it a lot. Same with some of the Disney Channel shows, like "Wizards of Waverly Place", "Austin and Alley", "Dog With A Blog", etc...

I watched “The Munsters” and “The Addams Family” when I was a kid, but I can only enjoy “Munsters” now; I think some of the writing is pretty funny on that show. I also watched “Batman” (at one point it was on 2x a week, so apparently I had a lot of company!). But they were all mid-60’s shows and I was under 10 at that point. By the time the Brady gang rolled in, I was more sophisticated - yeah, right! - I watched them too. Not many other options back then.

I forgot about Pee Wee's Playhouse. I used to watch that all the time b/c I loved Pee Wee Herman after seeing him in Pee Wee's Big Adventure. So yeah, I was definitely too old for it, but I tried to watch it every Saturday morning anyway.
