I was wondering if Mill Creek corrected those episodes. I also own the whole set from Sony and have not noticed any edited episodes. I might be mistaken though as I only watched Goodtimes on DVD and not on commercial TV. So wouldn't know any discrepancy. I also own season one and two from Mill Creek and they carry the full episodes. I must say that Milll Creek did a good job with the video transfer to dvd. They cram 12 episodes into each discs, but yet the video quality is still pretty good and colorful. AngieTribeca 02-14-2020, 06:39 AM I am specifically referring to the episode recaps and hourlong episodes that were split into 2 episodes in the Sony releases. In season 6 Florida's Homecoming was split into 4 parts with the first 2 parts running a little over 22 minutes in the Sony DVDs. Not sure if those are edited or just ran short. Since it originally ran as an hour the second part would not have opening credits and the first part would not have closing credits. In season 6 Florida's Favorite Passenger Part two had a runtime of 22 minutes and a few seconds and had no recap. On the Mill Creek release it runs 23 minutes and a few seconds with the addition of the recap. Not sure if it was really edited or just missing the recap at the beginning. The recap really adds nothing to the show so if that's all that's missing then it's fine. The Sony sets are amazing, I just happened to notice a few things. Not really a biggie, just wanted to see if Mill Creek made adjustments. BigManMike 02-18-2020, 08:14 PM I have the Mill Creek complete series but I wouldn’t know if they were all uncut or not. My only complaint is that Seasons 5 and 6 do not have captioning but other then that, it was a great bargain. Lot of shows from Sony were edited when it came to the two parters like the Jeffersons TVFactFan 06-10-2020, 01:23 AM I am specifically referring to the episode recaps and hourlong episodes that were split into 2 episodes in the Sony releases. Sony is 3327 and Mill Creek is 3337 |
