R.I.P., MARJ DUSAY (February 20, 1936 – January 28, 2020), movie, stage and busy TV actress. She had recurring roles on STOP SUSAN WILLIAMS (1979), BRET MAVERICK (1981-82), CAPITOL (1983-87), THE FACTS OF LIFE (1981-87), SANTA BARBARA (1987-91), DAYS OF OUR LIVES (1992-93), ALL MY CHILDREN (1998-2002), GUIDING LIGHT (1987-2009), etc. This news comes from Tom Weaver (who knew her).

So sorry to hear this. I principally knew her as Monica Warner #2. Of all of Blair's mothers, she was the one I was most used to seeing.

RIP.

Even though Pam Huntinton looked much more like Blair's mother in season 1, I thought Marj Dusay was a better actress. RIP.

This is sad to hear. She was a talented actress. Those who only saw her on this show really missed out on what other acting abilities she had. I loved her acting on All My Children. She was brilliant with her performance. I hope she's at peace.

Sad to hear this news. She had enormous shoes to fill when she took over the role of Alexandra on Guiding Light when Beverlee McKinsey quit, and she made the role her own. She will be missed... :(

I'm of course sorry to hear this as well; the parents of our girls were such prominent peripheral characters on the show. Peace to her and her family.

Just heard about the passing of Marj Dusay who played Blair’s mom, Monica Warner. She was absolutely perfect for the part, a seasoned actress and a delightful woman. It was a privilege to call her Facts of Life family.

That's sweet. I didn't even think to check any of their accounts about thoughts (Mindy left a comment of emojis, and Julie Anne "liked" Lisa's post [perhaps more, but there are so many likes and comments, and it said for me "liked by juliehaddockbecker and others"). And Lisa's right: She was perfect for the part. She was only on a handful of times, but she was such a part of that show.
