No ignorance at all. You should research someone who you haven’t traded with. It’s the smart thing to do. No one should get annoyed by you doing your due diligence.

Bumping this to just share my experience.

Reached out to StarrNoise because I stumbled on her list of shows, she has one that I'm currently looking for.

I was worried about not having something to trade because her list was so vast (and impressive).

After a few short emails back and forth we found I had something to offer up. She mentions she needs to find the box where the show lives.

I follow up once a few days later, only response was "Haven't looked. I work."

Totally understand.

10 days later, I follow up. Response was, "Haven't looked. Not a priority"

I try to assure that I'm a serious trader and then offer up a rare workprint that I acquired a few days ago.

No response for a few days now.

I understand 1000% that people are busy, people work, as do I 50+ hours a week. But being told "Not a priority" just felt a little deflating after years of trying to track a show down. So I'm not positive the trade is happening anymore. :(

Apparently in the trading world i need to announce my day 2 day and reasons why i don't run to my storage and dig through boxes for a couple of discs in the middle of winter in the northeast after working 10/12hrs outside already, my bad i want to go home with family , eat dinner, watch something and pass the **** out. I had no idea your priorities overseas my priorities. Now i could really care less.

Cool story. i didn't have to trade/pay either, They are readily available for free.

I have traded with countless people down through the years on this board. Mr. pitt for one in this thread. i discuss business in PMS only. I do not send gift cards. i trade rarely anymore. i have all i need or want for the most part. Arguing in any thread is a waste of time and childish for me at least.

IT IS WISE to check on any trader you have no history with.
