Why is she revealed as a lesbian in the last episode? If they had come up with a brand new character and made the person someone who likes people of the same gender, I wouldn't say anything; but Bess has been with the Nancy Drew books for nearly a century and may have even been shown in one book that was a case files or team up book with the Hardy Boys that she likes boys so why change her character?
