Shouldn't the show be called "The Castaway's Island" ? or something else like Survivor's Island ? ... or Skippers Island ? ... (Technically it's Uncharted Island ! )

How did it get named after the 1st mate Willy ? and by the way Gilligan had nothing to do with the tiny ship getting shipwrecked ! (actually it's a Cabin Cruiser - not a ship) so Cabin Cruiser Wrecked !

And who gave it the name Gilligan's Island anyway ? I have never heard anyone on the show refer it it as Gilligan's Island.
