I have been hearing about a new Planters commercial that's supposed to air during the Super Bowl and from what I've known about it is that Mr. Peanut is driving his Peanutmobile chasing after a camel and then something terrible happens to Mr. Peanut but you'll have to watch the commercial to find out what happens. The other info I found about this new commercial is that actor Wesley Snipes appears in it. Let's hope that they don't remove it like Procter And Gamble tried to do with the Mr. Clean Super Bowl commercial

Hi, Bestie! I think they will bring Mr. Peanut back after everybody protests his death. What do you think?

Planters adjusts its "R.I.P. Mr. Peanut" Super Bowl ad campaign following Kobe Bryant's death (https://variety.com/2020/tv/news/kobe-bryant-planters-super-bowl-commercial-1203482150/)

“Planters has paused all campaign activities, including paid media, and will evaluate next steps through a lens of sensitivity to those impacted by this tragedy,” the company said in a statement. While Planters has pulled back the ad campaign on Twitter and YouTube, no change has been made to the actual Super Bowl ad.

I think that is a good idea! After what happened with Kobe Bryant , I think it would be in very bad taste to go ahead with this Mr. Peanut gimmick at all!

I've seen the recent Mr. Peanut commercials where he "comes back to life" and honestly I don't' care for them at all. I think I'm just sensitive to these things because of my husband passing away. It's not the same thing, I know, but still...
