Since the Fox buddy dramedy had just (and quite publicly) replaced Clayne Crawford with Seann William Scott, whose ex she played, “the set was tense, obviously, but my experience was really good,” Lawson shares.

“Seann William Scott is so good, and I loved how they wrote the character. As a showrunner, Matt Miller is a really, really loving, wonderful guy.”
