In 1990 Fritos began airing a series of commercials starring country music star Reba McEntire. In the commercial while Reba's road crew fills up their tour bus with gas Reba stops to get a snack and chooses a bag of Fritos and as she opens her Fritos and eats Reba finds herself singing her cover of Bobbie Gentry's Fancy which was a hit for her in 1990. There was another variant of this commercial with a 1991 date that promoted Texas BBQ Fritos that is the same thing but features her eating Texas BBQ Fritos. From promoting her own clothing line at Dillard's to starring in her own sitcom Reba McEntire sure seems to be very busy and for an amazing country star these commercials prove what a star Reba is
