The show starts with Wally on phone talking to one of the guys about doing stuff on Saturday. Then Ward walks in and tells him he can't because he has yard work to do. In the scene at breakfast Saturday morning. Does Beaver have something under his nose or some kind of a shadow?

Maybe the start of a mustache?

It does look like a mustache. In real life he's probably 13 by this episode. A mustache at 13? I'm watching the DVD and these episodes look SO much better than on MeTV. For one thing it fills the screen.

I know Steve Talbot looks like he has one in the final season.

"Come on Moe, drop the hoe!"

Uncle Earl’s Classic TV cut out Eddie making a woman with the trash. Eddie takes a bag of leaves, a lamp shade and an old hat and makes a woman. “Hey who says Lumpy can’t get a date?” Lumpy- “She looks better than my last date with your cousin.” Anyone know what he really said?

Is the show from the 1961-1962 or the 1962-1963 season? If it was from 1962 Jerry Mathers might have been 14 not Beaver who was supposed to be 13. I don't think it was meant to show. Would really shown up much on TVs of the 1960?

It's from 1961-62.

It was probably filmed early in 1962, in which case he was 13, but Beaver was supposedly 12.

And, right, you might not have noticed the "mustache" on 1960s sets. But remastered and in great quality, it really shows.

(Eddie puts a lampshade and a flowered hat on a big bag of leaves in the front seat)

Eddie: Who says Lumpy can't get a girl?

Lumpy: Ha, ha, ha!

Eddie: Don't laugh, Lump. She's better lookin' than the last date you had.

Lumpy: Yeah, well, you know it wasn't my idea to take out your cousin.
