I can’t believe how June acts like a waitress and a cook. Keeping breakfast warm, making so many dinners and desserts and my favorite one she actually butters their toast and pours milk on Wally’s cereal.

Heck, I had a girlfriend who did that for her family in the 90's.

Imagine buttering toast for a 13 year old. Doing a disservice they’ll expect their wife to smear jelly on their bread.

Does anybody know how I can use some emoticon or some kind of laugh out loud graphic I haven’t a clue.

I recall a parody made lampooning this aspect on Saturday Night Live several years ago.

Whenever the other members of the family would be on the verge of a conflict, June would interrupt with a freshly made Chateaubriand or exotic desert that would immediately instill peace among all involved.

A "Stepford mom" you might say.

Lots of women still raise their sons with the concept that marriage is what you do to get yourself a woman who will devote their lives to caring for them.

My ex was flabbergasted when I told him a 13-year-old boy was more than old enough to operate the washer machine and put his clothes into two piles. One for color and one for whites. He wanted to know what kind of mother I was.

June was actually Mrs. Ward Cleaver. She was only an extension of Ward as most women were at that time.
