The first episode I saw was Down and Out In Malibu part 1 and 2. It was great! There was no boring Mrs. Garrett there to nag at people! Mrs. Garrett was never funny. I was glad she left the series, made the show a lot more better imo.

I think the first thing I had EVER heard about the FOL was when I was 16 in 1979, and I watched a commercial about some girls in a boarding school and I heard a very charming girl (Natalie) say "I'm a happy Magic Marker", and I liked her attitude.

As far as the first episode I saw was, I think it may have been Rough Housing (in a re-run), but I also recall the one where Cindy and Sue Ann were competing in an athletic event and became bitter rivals.

Mrs. Garrett "not funny"? I think Lizzie's gonna have a problem with that.

I defend Beverly Ann just like Charlotte Rae Fan does for Mrs. Garrett. Besides Mrs. G was boring until season 7. They finally made her funny then took her away.

    You know you are funny! I know the show revolved around her but I don't care for her. Like with Everybody Loves Raymond I hate Raymond, hes annoying and not even funny. But I watch that show because of his mother. She cracks me up. In FOL there was more than just Mrs Garrett to watch. Look the only reason why I said Mrs. Garrett was boring was because you posted a message saying Beverly Ann was pointless and the worse addition to the show. I just disagree with your opinion.

 Karly!!!

^^That was to lighten my mood...believe me you'll be glad...

Anyways...AHEM... well..do unto others as they do unto you...a nice twist on the Golden Rule...I prefer...the one without a twist.
Where did we get off being children and making fun of each other's favorite characters?! Huh?! I mean..what's REALLY the point of that??? Is someone a little insecure about their favorite character maybe not being as good as they say they are? I mean..there are a lot of people(with the exception of Tony, of course) who are absolutely FINE with Mrs. G, and THE SAME PEOPLE...Don't like Beverly Ann, so, obviously, I've got other fans to back up Mrs. G with...Can you show me as many Beverly Ann fans as there are Mrs. G fans??I think not...I rest my case...

You must not read many messages from this board uh? I do. And I noticed some people actually like Beverly Ann. Maybe not as much as Mrs. Garrett but it's ok it doesn't bother me. Seriously I didn't want to pick a fight with you. Also when you see "We Get Letters" you will like it. I have seen it and its kind of funny. Mrs. Garrett gave a good performance in my opinion. But you probably already know that. Anyways I have other things to do.

You need to read the posts again, Lizzie DID NOT say that Beverly Ann was the worse addition to the show and that she was pointless. Maybe if you would read the posts and stop picking fights, you would get it right!

actually, yea, I read MOST of the posts...you must be the one to not read posts....People may not like the way Mrs. G is always there giving advice, but, over all, I'm sure that most people would pick Mrs. G over Beverly Ann ANYDAY!!!!!

I read the posts too, and I agree with Lizzie, Mrs Garrett was a good advice giver, on anything really! She had her seriousness and her jokes, but all in all, She was a good housemother to them girls. If I went to an All-Girls school, I would definitely want a housemother like Mrs Garrett!

RIGHT!!!!! ya know...I do admit to things, but see, the thing is...I DIDN'T DOOOOOOOOO ANYTHING!!!!:):):):) That's the beauty of acting my age or older...it's called being responsible! And, don't forget, sticking up for your favorite TV CHARACTERS!!! Like MRS. G!!!!!!!!Because let me tell you, if Mrs. G were here, she would not ONLY make you laugh, after she made you laugh, she kick your butt all the way to timbuck too for making fun of her.In fact, you're lucky I, the second MRs. G, don't kick your butt to tim buck too or farther...because let me tell you, again, MRS. G, rules...BEVERLY ANN...is a pain in the @....butt......

On July 19 2001 you wrote this in Favorite Era? I bumped the message back up anyways.

I like all of them except the Over Our Heads years.I like the first few episode with Over Our Heads but other than that the episodes with Beverly Ann were really stupid because there was really no point for Beverly Ann to be there she was really annoying!!

Now I don't mean to insult Mrs. Garrett or you I just don't like it when you or other members pick on Beverly Ann. She was funny most of the times. Has there ever been an episode that made you laugh because of Beverly Ann?

yea...I replied there...
anyways...yea...no...I don't usually watch episodes with Beverly Ann, although, to my surprise, I do have one or two recorded....I only watch one cause David Spade is in it and he's hilarious...anyway...nope..not really..BA doesn't make me laugh. Mrs. G made me laugh...but Beverly Ann was just...I don't know...she reminds me of ROSE on Golden Girls, except...more naive...I dunno...Rose is funny....BA just goes past that...

Flash Flood, I was supposed to be doing my homework and I got hooked I set up commercial breaks to work on it. It was in 2000 when it barley started on Nick, and every night I would watch it when I did my homework, and I would ask my mom to come watch it with me and I got teased by seeing New Girl prt 1 and it said to be continued. After that I started recording it, and then I signed up here as tootiefan4life lol.
