(Ralph & Ed are looking at pictures of past drivers at the Gotham Bus Co.)

Ralph: “Look at these pictures Norton. Here is one of a driver named Marty who was the first black bus driver in this company’s history. He came here by coincidence after Martin Luther King made his mark in regards to blacks and whites.”

Ed: “That is great. I wonder if he is still alive.”

Ralph: “I hope so. I certainly wish that Martin Luther King was. He was a great American.”

Ed: “I wonder what he would think of Trump.”

Ralph: “I don’t think I want to know. Let’s not get into that. I am glad that MLK made sure that blacks were treated the same way as whites like abolishing places that said ‘Only blacks allowed.’”

Ed: “We also have a picture of the first black Raccoon at the Raccoon Lodge. His name is also Marty. Boy that Martin Luther King was a great American. I wish he was still alive. With a last name like that, he was a KING. Unlike you Ralph when you try to tell Alice that you are the King of the castle only for Alice to laugh it off.”

Ralph: “Oooooooh, you are a riot Norton. A real riot. But, we should all be thankful for Dr. King. If he was here, we should all shake his hand.”

Ed: “We should. Dr. King was a great man.”

(They both sing a song about what a great man Dr. King was.)

(Jackie walks on stage. Crowd cheers.)

Jackie: “Thank you. GOOD NIGHT!”

(Crowd cheers.)
