Kennedy McMann on Nancy Drew's abrupt season finale: "It's like, well yikes, here we are. What a way to end the season" (https://www.etonline.com/nancy-drew-finale-kennedy-mcmann-breaks-down-that-deadly-cliffhanger-exclusive-144898)

The CW freshman drama had to end its freshman season last night four episodes short due to the coronavirus shutdown. However, McMann says last night's episode "works perfectly as a season finale."

I watched the whole season, but I found the supernatural part of the show to be corny. I wish they would have went with a more realistic approach and not with ghosts and indigenous spirits.

I also hoped that they went with the Sarah Shahi version that wasn't picked up a few years ago.

The show really doesn't have anything to do with the classic Nancy Drew character - it's just all about this supernatural nonsense with a small backstory about her family, there aren't really any mysteries or anything, just plenty of romantic drama plot stories

Not sure I want to keep watching
