Do we know? In the episode where Wally had to get an orchid for his dance date, Eddie said something about his dad bought houses cheap.

I just googled everything I could think of and nothing came up. This sounds like a job forscrabjan1 who knows the show inside & out. stevea too.

In an early episode it was said he owned a garage. It seems unlikely Eddie would have worked for that ray of sunshine, Mr. Thompson, at his gas station if that was the case, though. Other than that I don't know of any references.

We don't know what many of these parents did for a living. The original Gilbert's (Gates) father was a musician, and the later Gilbert's (Bates) father was an electrical engineer. Ward and Fred and Bill Boothby (whom Ward doesn't even know at the beginning of season 5) possibly work at some kind of marketing research firm.

Oh, and Larry's mother was a dental nurse and Judy's mother was a head buyer.
