any advice on if i should get one of the $50some full series boxed sets i've found??? they say they're in brand new condition, and were released in 2010.

i need to know if the picture quality (and hopefully audio too, but, most especially picture) is consistently at least as good as it is in the episodes streamed on amazon. because i'll be doing a lot of screen caps and, if possible, ripping a scene here & there for fan tributes.

has anyone bought these? would you recommend it? seems to me to be the best deal.

I did not buy the complete series set, but I bought individual season DVD sets. They are superb, with amazing picture and sound. The sole exception is Season 2, if I remember correctly, which is slightly fuzzier in picture but still very good.

Yes! My advice would be to buy from a reliable source, meaning not an auction site. Too many bogus sets on the auction sits.
