RetroGuy2000 01-02-2020, 12:06 AM That was great! She's so funny. I was laughing all the way through her monologue.
80s Dude 01-02-2020, 07:29 AM I wonder how Lisa Whelchel handled this when/if she saw it? It would either be "That's my Mindy" or she would be looking for the closet pearl necklace to clutch.
RetroGuy2000 01-02-2020, 07:52 PM I think Lisa has learned to chill about sex stuff, to some extent. Did you see the interview she did with the obviously gay guy (whose name I don't remember) on YouTube? She seemed totally open and accepting.

Yes, she is definitely no Kirk Cameron.
RetroGuy2000 01-03-2020, 01:20 AM Ugh. Don't get me started on Kirk Cameron. That sanctimonious POS...

Well I sure don’t care for his opinions either, BUT I have to admit he was great on Growing Pains. Mindy on the other hand, is fabulous ALL the way around! STILL going strong (unlike KC)

He was great on Growing Pains... that's for sure!
I forgot to mention I LOVE Mindy's pink hair, in that video.

Yeah she’s really cool. Wears her faith so beautifully; none of the holier-than-thou smugness of KC.
Thank you for sharing the video!

I cant remember, are you a fan of Fuller House? If so you may wanna skip an episode of this final season. ;)

I did see a few episodes of the first new season, but it didn't hold my interest. I never got past the first new season.

Ah too bad. I think it actually got very good after the first season. It became more of its own thing rather than a retread on old FH storylines.

Well, then, I guess I will give it another try. You have good taste in television, and I trust your recommendations.

Why thank you! No harm in trying it.

I have just watched much of Season Two. I think it has grown on me. I'm not a fan of all of the celebrity episodes ("Singer-songwriter Macy Gray! What are you doing here!?"), but I do like the flashbacks and the nostalgia. The kids are also adorable, and the fourth wall breaks are hilarious.
