I saw the 3rd season episode of Home Improvement that has the 5th anniversary show of Tool Time featured. One of the guests on the show was Johnny Rutherford playing himself as a 3 time Emmy winner. I tried looking him up in my complete primetime directory to see what he won the Emmys for, but there was no Johnny Rutherford in the index. I also tried looking him up through the epguides.com episode descriptions that led to TVMaze, but there was no biography listed for him there either. Was he an actual Emmy winner, or something Tim just said on the show?

He is a three-time Indianapolis 500 winner.

I love that episode because the Man's Kitchen is introduced and I love what Al says to Tim when Tim can't get the place opened up: "Maybe we should get jumper cables and hook it up to another kitchen!" :D :D :D
