CHCH is getting into the holiday spirit by having their own Christmas marathon in what they are calling a "Retro Little Christmas" featuring holiday episodes of all their current retro series on Dec. 24 and 25. The full episode list is here:

Here's an interview that I found with CHCH programmer Nick Bannard about the CHCH Christmas retro schedule that gives more details at what we can expect on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day, and also hints at a few new developments for the New Year that he hopes viewers will love:

As the new year approaches, CHCH will continue to engage with the possibilities of retro programming, rescuing beloved television series from obscurity.

The channel is even asking its 1.3 million weekly viewers to let them know which other shows they’d like to see. Early in the retro schedule’s inception, they heard from these same viewers disappointed that their favourite show was replaced before its conclusion.


That means that we should look for a few surprise additions ahead as January approaches. I have no idea what they might be but I will keep an eye open and post the results as they arrive.
