I was putting myself through acting school waiting tables, that's the standard thing that you hear, I really was. I studied for 3-4 years at Lee Strasberg, very serious, doing theater...
This comedy came along and I was like, "I think I could do this." The first time I went in they were like, "She's not funny enough," and I went, "Please give me another chance!" I was doing drama for so long in the classroom and asked to come back.
I watched "Seinfeld" over and over and watched 'Elaine' on how she delivered her lines, also watched on what she was doing which made everything bigger. I went back and auditioned like 'Elaine' from "Seinfeld" and that's how I got this part. It was one of the most fun jobs that I've ever had.
