I’ve seen this episode umpteen times and never saw this before. When Dudley starts playing the piano all the girls gravitate towards him. Eddie is left with the record player and gets up and says “hey what gives.” The brunette to his left is jolted when Eddie barges in. She gives him a disgusted look like what a creep.

I'll have to look for that. Hadn't noticed before.

That is my favorite episode of the series. My only complaint is I think the piano playing scene could have gone on a little longer.

Great lines! Reminds me of how rich the humor was on LITB.

About the piano scene, no, it is the same length on the DVD, it's just that I would still have liked for it to go on a bit longer. It's such a great moment, when Dudley finally lets his secret talent shine after having been a "dud" before. Beaver's wisdom in the epilogue is great too:

Dudley, who looked like he couldn't do anything, could really do something, while Eddie, who can't do anything, is all the time saying he can do everything. (I'm paraphrasing.)

Yup great line. Beaver hopes there are more people like Dudley than Eddie when he grows up. As for the line about playing with dolls Eddie wasn’t present. June says it the morning Dudley arrives and tells Wally, Dudley and Ward. She said Ruth McMillan and June dreamed about having boys when they were young playing with dolls. How did Eddie know? She didn’t say it when Eddie was in the kitchen.

That's a good point. I hand't noticed that. I think Eddie says the line to Lumpy while they're waiting on the street for Wally and Dudley. Could Wally have said something like that to Eddie during the "hunk of milk" scene?
