Thanks Bonniegirl, you're a magician when it comes to this thing. With me it's a roll of the dice, sometimes pictures pop up other times all I get is a link that shows. Sometimes it's just a round gray circle? That's a strange one. But thanks again, I like to see Dennis in color, makes me think how great it would have been if the whole series was in color or colorized!:)

You are welcome Hazel Anyday ! :) I would love to see Dennis the menace in color! Wish they would follow Lucy's lead and do some colorized TV specials ! ;)

Cute Little Jay. I’m doing some binge watching of Dennis and having a great time watching George Wilson, persnickety retiree, get haunted by that kid next door. Joseph Kearns was brilliant. As I kid I always liked Dennis the Menace and thought Wilson was great.

Love when Dennis talks about his bay window. ‘Martha my nerve medicine!’

Looking at the Christmas picture above, it reminds me he did an admirable job singing Silent Night in probably all three Christmas episodes.

As did Jon Provost over the closing credits of Lassie one year. I should have hauled that out this year.

I believe you are correct about Silent Night. I think in the third, and ultimately final, Christmas episode, Dennis said "we forgot something" in regards to singing ... and that's how the episode ended.
Unfortunately the fourth season did not include a Christmas episode. Another strike against it!

I was hoping this thread was still fairly high on the board, because I noticed that Antenna TV skipped over the first Christmas episode a few weeks ago after cycling back to the first season. I wonder if there is a limit on how many times per year a given episode can be shown. I think this episode's turn came up right near the end of February, so only two months or so after Christmas.
I am guessing the second- and third-season Christmas episodes will be shown in the regular order as usual. I can remember those airing throughout the year in the past.

ETA: Antenna did show the second-season Christmas episode March 21 as part of the regular rotation.

I think they skipped the third season one at Christmas, which I thought was odd. I'm pretty sure that's the one where drag the Christmas tree on the bus.

Yes, it is. I think I remember them skipping it the last time the third season came up in the rotation, probably because it was too close to Christmas.

They're showing it today.

Might as well note that the first-season Christmas episode is on Antenna right now, in the 10:30 a.m. ET time slot.
This one is hands down my favorite of the three. It captures the anticipation of Christmas Eve so well, how the day is a final buildup to all the festivities.

Just for the sake of completeness, the third-season Christmas episode aired yesterday (July 29) in the 10 a.m. ET time slot. So without ever having tracked it, it looks like they cycle through the series every 3 1/2 months.
My guess is the first- and second-season Christmas episodes will be shown in the regular rotation, but the third would come up around mid-November. I wouldn't be surprised if it's skipped.

ETA: Antenna did indeed skip the third-season Christmas episode. It's Nov. 11, Veterans Day, and the episode where Mr. Wilson works at the bank is airing. That one immediately follows the Christmas episode, and that definitely was not shown this past Friday.
