The New Class setting should never have been in both bayside or valley high school types at all, tbh, IMO.

You're thinking the episode of the original series from Season 4 called "Time Capsule".

Yes. In fact, The New Class episode ("The Class Of 2020") is a slight remake--not to mention an uninspired rehash--of the SBTB episode "The Time Capsule" (aired just two years earlier). In layman's terms, it's just another obligatory clip show, featuring the then-current cast of The New Class reminiscing about the various misadventures and shenanigans they all experienced in previous episodes.
