snowpeck 12-11-2019, 06:17 PM wonder where the jeffersons is going
It's already on the Decades weekday lineup. And not confirmed, but it looks like Charlie's Angels is going to Cozi. No idea if Diagnosis Murder will reappear anywhere else.
Svenfan1234 12-11-2019, 06:26 PM Would you happen to know any of the Svengoolie movies for January, snowpeck?
AMackII 12-11-2019, 06:29 PM Great that Adam 12 and the 90 minute Columbo episodes is returning but not happy about Charlie's Angels & The Jeffersons leaving too early.
snowpeck 12-11-2019, 06:32 PM Would you happen to know any of the Svengoolie movies for January, snowpeck?
Only January 4th, which is "It Came From Outer Space".
Svenfan1234 12-11-2019, 06:37 PM Only January 4th, which is "It Came From Outer Space".
Thanks! I hope you have more soon.
LUNCH 12-11-2019, 06:52 PM It would be nice if they showed the 1950s Dragnet, but I assume they are bringing back the late 60s version. Some channel here has been showing the original 50s version and it is quite good. However they keep repeating the same few episodes over and over.I assume they are public domain episodes.
Merry24 12-11-2019, 06:52 PM Thanks for posting this! Glad to see The Monkee’s are Returning to Me TV Sunday’s at 5pm & 5:30pm.
The Weekday Morning line up is Keene!! To bad there Weekday Morning line-up isn’t there Primetime or LateNight Schedule!
Glad to see I Love Lucy Back! Although it’s sharing the same time slot as Hallmark Channel is airring it! I would of suggested I Love Lucy 10pm Sunday’s! Although YABBA DABBA DOO! The Flintstones will be on Sunday’s in the Morning and at 10pm on Sunday’s!
BigManMike 12-11-2019, 08:22 PM Disappointed weeknights are the same lousy schedule with two episodes of that lame Hogan’s Heroes. Also disappointed The Jeffersons is leaving but glad to see The Flintstones and The Honeymooners at a watchable time on Sundays along with the Dick Van Dyke Show in the same spots so my Sunday nights are complete. Also glad to see the Waltons but wish it was on at a better time.
Yay. MASH at 7-8, Hogans Heroes 10-11.
Some things must remain eternal....
VisualSensation 12-11-2019, 09:04 PM I can't believe it, The Waltons is back on the air. I finally have a reason to watch MeTV again.
Bonniegirl 12-11-2019, 10:08 PM AWESOME about the Waltons.:) Hope it gets a good time slot!!;)
snowpeck 12-11-2019, 10:13 PM AWESOME about the Waltons.:) Hope it gets a good time slot!!;)
All you have to do is click on the PDF schedule. It will air at noon Eastern.

So it will replace "in the Heat of the night"?
stevea 12-11-2019, 10:42 PM If you check this week/next week, they're only showing 2 seasons of Highway Patrol. I can't imagine having problems getting the right to the last two seasons.
icecream 12-11-2019, 11:08 PM Dragnet would make more sense in the 4PM hour leading into Adam-12. Alfred Hitchcock Presents and Highway Patrol would be good leading into them at 3:00 and 3:30. It sure would be nice if Comcast gave me a Christmas present and put this station on their lineup along with Cozi and Light like I requested several months ago. Even with local affiliates for all three now, there isn't any point in cutting the cord as ota stations don't come in well without cable at my apartments.
stevea 12-11-2019, 11:33 PM When the cable company picks up the ota subchannel, it's probably specified in the contract to not pick up the national feed.
Also how does Comcast adding a channel go along with cord-cutting?

Also how does Comcast adding a channel go along with cord-cutting?The three stations I requested Comcast put on their channels are local affiliates now that would be available over the air. Irritating as three empty channels they could easily use from 244-246 between other local channels filling the 240s.
Bonniegirl 12-12-2019, 12:10 AM Oh I see ! Waltons will get In the heat of the nights time slot and ITHOTN will move up to 11:00 and Diagnosis murder is getting the axe !! I love Lucy is on way too early,:( and cool that Adam 12 is taking over that goofy show, Charlie's angels spot ! But already at 5 Perry Mason is on FETV, Cagney and Lacey is on and Alice is on Antenna!
But I'm really glad about the Waltons !!:)

But I'm really glad about the Waltons !!:)If the leaked schedule from the Antenna thread is correct, Alice won't be in the 5PM pacific hour anymore. That will have It's a Living and Three's Company, with Alice getting cut to one episode and moving a half hour earlier to 4:30PM. If you get Hallmark Movies and Mysteries they will still air Diagnosis Murder plenty when Christmas movie overload ends.

The 1950 Dragnet is in Public domain it is seen on the old Retro TV and few other stations that show Publc domain shows
you can watch the 1950 Drganet episode on Internet archive http://archive.org/search.php?query=Dragnet%2C%20Classic%20TV%20AND%20mediatype%3Amovies
eng51squad51 12-12-2019, 12:17 PM So it will replace "in the Heat of the night"?
From looking at that Schedule the in the heat of the night will move back 1 Hr to 11am the time where Diagnose Murder use be on

Good!:) I'm glad they didn't cut In the heat of the night. That's a good show! ;)
Samme 12-12-2019, 04:14 PM I'm glad The Fugitive is back on Sunday nights. It deserves to be on TV. Also glad they kept Gomer Pyle. Too bad they didn't find a spot for Mama's Family.
Maybe Mama will return sometime in 2020. In the meantime, will
have to get the DVDs going soon. :)
Sundays 9:30 to 11 p.m. is nice programming. Though I will have to choose between Me and TheCW for the first half-hour.
Hawkee 12-13-2019, 03:10 AM Will the two episodes of Alfred Hitchcock Presents still remain at 1AM PT and 1:30AM PT on METV and also will Mannix still air at 2AM PT weekdays? Because although Dragnet is a great addition to METV these two shows are my mom's favorites. You also mentioned that The Honeymooners will air on METV as well. Will it replace The Andy Griffith Show on METV too

She airs on Decades weekdays at 9am to 10am then follow by Lucy show 10am to 11am
It too bad that Hallmark cut her down to 5am to 7am when they used show her from 5am to 9am then 5am to 8am
treky 12-15-2019, 02:49 AM will THE HONEYMOONERS be the lost episodes like their sister channel Decades shows? Or will they just air "the classic 39" over and over and over like before? That'd be neat if they showed some of the Pert Kelton ones or the musical "trip to Europe" ones like Decades does.
treky 12-15-2019, 02:56 AM glad to see they're Keeping Andy, Gomer and GREEN ACRES in prime-time. Disappointed though that they'll STILL be showing MASH in that same time slot-back to back episodes weeknights at 7 and 7:30. (must be a HUGE hit for them)
MDCSWildcats86 12-15-2019, 10:37 AM M*A*S*H is a HUGE hit.
Happy to see Reed/Malloy back on the air. I'll take them anyday over Jill/Kris/Sabrina (and their suspiciously similar substitutes).
Nice to see M:I back on ME-TV, but wished it got a weekday timeslot.
Also, any chance that THE FBI will show up somewhere?
storrs19 12-15-2019, 10:39 PM It would be nice if they showed the 1950s Dragnet, but I assume they are bringing back the late 60s version. Some channel here has been showing the original 50s version and it is quite good. However they keep repeating the same few episodes over and over.I assume they are public domain episodes.
Sadly I don’t think we’ll ever see the 1950s Dragnet on dvd or tv outside of the same old public domain episodes. This is really a shame as it’s a great program from what I’ve seen. I guess the original 35mm prints are still in storage but I wonder how much they’ve deteriorated over the years. 😨
stevea 12-15-2019, 10:58 PM Yep, somebody owns all these old shows where the copyrights have lapsed, and as you say, probably the 35mms are safely stored away somewhere.
Many shows that were popular in syndication in the 80s and 90s were mastered to newer technology, such as umatic videotape. Such as the 60s Dragnet. Older shows like the 50s Dragnet probably only exist in circulation on a hit or miss basis, some episodes here and there. Those inferior old syndication films, probably 16mm copies, public domain, are shown by low-budget networks. Not MeTV.
I'd bet MeTV would like to show the 50s version, but not enough to pay to have them remastered from the 35mms by the owners (I think it's Universal). Nor is the owner willing to shell out to remaster an old black and white show.
So there it stands, nowhere.
Crusinforabrusin2.5 12-16-2019, 03:05 AM The shows leaving Metv deserve to leave. None of them were very good.

Just the Classic 39.
Crusinforabrusin2.5 12-16-2019, 12:37 PM I would have loved to seen Metv acquire The F. B. I., Medical Center, Falcon Crest or Dallas. All good shows
MDCSWildcats86 12-16-2019, 03:28 PM I would have loved to seen Metv acquire The F. B. I., Medical Center, Falcon Crest or Dallas. All good shows
I have the entire runs of the first two shows.
Never saw FC, and DALLAS is all wrong for ME-TV (it would be better off on something like TVGuide channel)
stevea 12-16-2019, 10:03 PM I think the FBI would work on there. They'd probably put in on in the overnight for the insomniacs.
treky 12-17-2019, 02:06 AM "DALLAS" used to be on Soap Net (whatever happened to that channel anyway?)
treky 12-17-2019, 02:11 AM I would have loved to seen Metv acquire The F. B. I., Medical Center, Falcon Crest or Dallas. All good shows
I agree with all those except for DALLAS. I would love to see that again (surprised no ones showing it anymore) but it's not right for ME TV.
eng51squad51 12-17-2019, 12:01 PM the old Primetime soaps is too expenvise and does not do well in reruns
if you want to watch Dallas you can watch it for free on IMDB.com free TV streaming service
icecream 12-17-2019, 01:52 PM "DALLAS" used to be on Soap Net (whatever happened to that channel anyway?)Soapnet folded a few years back, that channel is no more now.
When do these changes take effect? Does anyone know?

Thank you.
stevea 12-30-2019, 05:05 PM Right. And you didn't ask, but the changes to Antenna TV take place on 1/2/20. Only because they have a News Radio marathon on New Years Day.

Hmm... 2 hour Stooges is very interesting...
Snowpeck, if you're reading this thread do you know what the Svengoolie movie is for February 1st? Thanks in advance!
Merry24 01-09-2020, 06:18 PM I’m glad The Three Stooges gets an extra hour but I wish they do like they do with Perry Mason an early airring than another airring later in the night.

If you have cable the Cable Channel IFC air them on Sunday mornings and at times during week and some time AMC air them as well
Why are they getting rid of Wonder Woman?
Svenfan1234 01-09-2020, 07:20 PM Why are they getting rid of Wonder Woman?
I have a theory that's probably wrong as to why they added the hour of The Three Stooges--likely to stay throughout the year--but it's probably wrong.

I do wonder if that could be the reason why.
eng51squad51 01-09-2020, 08:42 PM Why are they getting rid of Wonder Woman?
It is believe they are moving her to sister network H&I to be part of the Super Hereos block on Saturday Mornings

eng51squad51 01-10-2020, 06:28 PM Why are they getting rid of Wonder Woman?
They are just shifted her to the Sister Network H & I as she been running on METV for a Long time.
merlinjones 01-10-2020, 09:02 PM If so, I will sorely miss Wonder Woman on Saturday nights -- Lynda Carter's legendary megawatt smile makes me feel everything's going to be okay for the week...
