Nickelodeon needed to find something to air during their late night/early morning hours, when the little ones were in bed. They decided on reruns. But not just any reruns, cool, nostalgic retro reruns of show from the 50s and 60s! It's Nick at Nite (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nick_at_Nite), a Baby Boomer's paradise!

My future Programming thought is perhaps NICK at NITE will be the place for reboots for Classic TV Shows. In addition airring the original as well.

Who needs all those shows when you can watch a hundred episodes of Friends every week?

What surprises me is all the complaints nick@niTe received on its Facebook page about FRIENDS removed for 1 weekend.

I understand nick@niTe & TVLAND have to show there popular shows but this has been going on for years now!!

FRIENDS EveryNite on nick@niTe almost the entire block. They never did that with Donna Reed or Lassie yes, they had Marathons every now in again but not EveryNite almost the entire niTe.

Everybody Loves Raymond & The King Of Queens on TVLAND. Almost EveryNite from 8pm-10pm & 11pm-1AM.

The company had so many options to reinstate Classic TV (50’s & 60’s & 70’s) on NICK at NITE whether it being on NICKELODEON or NICK JR. (Calling it NICK at NITE Senior) or TVLand.

Bottom line they’ve dragged their feet and is now a 6-8 Hour nitely Binge of FRIENDS every nite.If your not a FRIENDS Fan than nick@nite will isolate you.

Nick@nite nowadays only has 2 shows: Friends and Mike & Molly. Call It the Friends and Mike & Molly channel.

They could've removed the block, but NO! Friends ratings based on spoilertv ratings hitting at least 300K-500K viewers, in top 200, even beating Nickelodeon numbers. I'll predict Mike & Molly could possibly be removed sometime sooner
