If Wally is supposed to go to a dance coming up Saturday night why would he write a letter? (Snail mail) Don’t they have her number? Weren’t they supposed to be their best friends before they moved?

He must have known what she looked like before she moved and was not super rich just comfortable.

If the Bannermans were the Cleavers' best friends before they moved, as June said, surely Wally would have known Kitty.

Strange script.

Were those Brussels sprouts on Beaver’s plate when Wally excuses himself to do homework. He was told to eat faster by Ward. Also Wally has hidden Kitty’s letters in one of his clean shirts in the drawer. I’m surprised June didn’t find them. She found the faux letter he wrote about Frank Sinatra and his father being a bank president gong through the basket. Again I think that Beverly Washburn should have played Kitty and Bernadette Withers should have played Jill.

There were cuts at the beginning. The episode started out with Ward correcting Beaver, probably telling him not to stuff so much food in his mouth--which MeTV cut out. Then eventually Ward tells Beaver to eat faster, and Beaver stands up for himself and basically says he can't win. I didn't notice the sprouts.

Right I'm surprised she didn't find the letters, and yeah, there she was rooting thru the trash again. I guess the only defense is that Wally had been so evasive with all his "I don't know"s, she figured she might find something to explain it. Which she did.

Yeah like they cut out the whole scene when Ward and June are going to see a new baby in the dreaded Chuckie’s Shoes. There were a few funny scenes with Eddie.

Ever see that opening scene from Glamour Girl when they’re at the dinner table that’s been redone where dialogue is dubbed? Ward asks June what sort of crazy “•*¥€” did you get up to today.

I'll have to check that out.

They write some pretty funny lines for Chuckie, but this is that episode with the overacting/emoting by Marjorie Reynolds.

Mrs. Murdock: When does mommy ever hit you?

Chuckie: All the time!

Chuckle was a much better crier than little Benjie when he wants Wally to change the rock back into Beaver.

Maybe Hugh taught Rory how to cry, like he did Mathers.

Chuckie was also good in Beaver's Frogs.

I think Rory Stevens was in “Carrie” but I never can find which character he played.
